Why you’ll love this
Clean, matched components Holder + fuses share the AMI/MIDI footprint so installation is quick and tidy. |
Safer wiring Properly sized DC fusing helps protect cables and downstream gear during faults and overloads. |
Off-grid ready Durable, vibration-resistant parts suited to RVs, trailers, vans, marine, and cabin installs. |
Flexible amp options Select the fuse rating that matches your wire gauge, run length, and device draw. |
Great for
- Main battery positive protection near the battery
- Inverter feeds, DC-DC chargers, MPPT controller outputs
- Distribution panels and branch circuits on 12/24 V systems
Sizing & install tips
- Choose ampacity based on wire gauge, insulation temp rating, run length, and device continuous + surge current.
- Mount close to the source (typically within 7–12" of the battery or power source) to protect the full run.
- Torque terminals per hardware spec; use quality ring lugs and heat-shrink; keep cover installed after wiring.
- Very high currents? For larger inverter feeds requiring higher ratings, consider our ANL fuse options.
Popular Add-Ons & Alternatives
Always confirm fuse size against device specs, wiring ampacity charts, and applicable standards (e.g., ABYC for marine). Installation should be performed by a qualified person. Periodically inspect your electrical system, and connections.
