The Roof Tech RT-Mini II is a low-profile, self-flashing solar roof mount designed for fast, clean, and reliable installs on both asphalt shingle and metal roofs. Using Roof Tech’s proven AlphaSeal™ butyl flashing, it creates a waterproof seal without traditional metal flashing, while also giving installers the flexibility to mount to rafters or to roof decking depending on layout and attachment needs.
Compatible with the Kinetic L-Bracket and Rapid Rail system, the RT-Mini II helps create a clean, professional mounting setup with more flexible spacing options and simpler installation planning.

For decking installs or combination rafter + decking installs, you will need 4 additional 5×60mm wood screws per mount (not included).

The RT-Mini II is fully compatible with the Kinetic L-Bracket and Rapid Rail system for a clean, integrated mounting solution.
For a typical rail-based install, you will generally need 1 × RT-Mini II and 1 × L-Bracket for each mounting foot location.
From there, installers will usually add Rapid Rail, plus the appropriate mid clamps, end clamps, and any required attachment screws depending on whether the install is going into rafters, decking, or a combination of both.

Stamped PE letters are available in at least 5 provinces for supported projects. Check the manufacturer documentation or contact us before ordering if your install requires engineered paperwork.
Do I need extra screws?
Yes & No. We recommend getting extra screws just in case you miss the rafter.

Can this be installed to rafters or to roof decking?
Yes. One of the big advantages of the RT-Mini II is that it can be installed into rafters or into roof decking, giving installers more flexibility for mount spacing and rail layout.
This also allows flexibility when mistakes are made and you miss the rafter with your screw. Instead of removing the screw (leaving a hole), simply drive the additional screws into the decking and continue installing.
What rail systems does this work with?
Pretty much any rail system is compatible. We recommend the Kinetic Rapid Rail system.
The RT-Mini II is fully compatible with the Kinetic L-Bracket Kit and Rapid Rail, making it a strong fit for Kinetic-based rail installs
Do I need separate flashing?
No. The RT-Mini II uses Roof Tech’s AlphaSeal™ self-flashing butyl base, so separate traditional metal flashing is not required.
