After years working in heavy industry and designing automated electrical systems, Russ launched Sapphire Energy to bring reliable, high-performance lithium batteries to Canadians, without the hassle of dealing with offshore brands or vague support.

Initial impressions, very solid build quality. Case is sturdy with no creaking seams. Terminals appear very well sealed. Rope handles are also very sturdy and secure. Will update this review after more testing and use, but so far, very happy with this battery!
Perhaps the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. I was getting some abnormal behaviours from a battery, Russ always responded instantly giving me great advice, and I happened to be driving nearby so he even invited me to swing by his house at 10pm on his WIFE’s BIRTHDAY, and helped me swap it out for a new one for peace of mind.
Firstly, outstanding battery - I upgraded from a standard 100ah Gel battery that I hadn’t bought long before, but this one is on another level and has twice the go even with the same rated capacity. The app is a game changer too, whether it’s for trouble shooting, monitoring, testing etc, getting the insight into what’s actually going on is invaluable.
I had a few questions early on and Russ always replied basically instantly, and went above and beyond to make sure I got the battery in time, and that it was all working as intended. The man’s clearly very knowledgeable about all things electricity. 10/10 experince dealing with him
Seems to be well built. A must have to protect portable solar panels.
I just had a chance to try the 200 watt solar panel kit with MPPT controller for the first time, and I must say, it seems very well build , folds up nicely and works flawlessly.
I would recommend, as I did, getting the protective carrying case to go with the kit to avoid any scratches on the panels.
As far as customer service, which seems to lacking in all aspects of every day life. That is not the case when it comes to Sapphire Energy. The customer service with this company is Excellent , responding to, and answering all my questions and concerns very fast , making the purchasing process a lot less stressful.
It is nice to be able to support a Canadian company with Canadian built products, I would highly recommend dealing with Sapphire Energy on your solar needs.

I was extremely happy with the performance of the battery with my trolling motor, and the Bluetooth feature was extremely helpful to know where the battery was at and how much power was being used. Russ was extremely helpful. I plan on replacing my RV batteries and will be contacting him soon.. Lots of help wealth of information.!
