- Practical energy storage — 100Ah / 1280Wh for everyday off-grid loads
- Lightweight Group 24 case — approximately 21lb with built-in carrying handles
- Bluetooth monitoring — check charge level, voltage, current, temperatures and alarms
- 100A continuous output — suitable for DC equipment and appropriately sized inverters
- Built-in BMS protection — including low-temperature charging protection
- Built for long-term use — premium cells, 5000+ rated cycles and a 5-year limited warranty
Power lighting, pumps, communications equipment, compatible trolling motors and other DC loads without the weight and routine maintenance of a comparable lead-acid battery. LiFePO₄ chemistry provides a relatively steady operating voltage through much of the discharge cycle, helping your equipment perform consistently.
The battery can also support a suitably sized inverter for AC equipment. Its 100A continuous discharge rating represents approximately 1280W of DC output at nominal voltage; available AC power is lower after inverter losses. Check continuous demand and startup surge before selecting an inverter.
Built-in Bluetooth 5.0 connects your battery to a free mobile app for iOS and Android. Check its estimated state of charge, live voltage and current, internal temperature readings and individual cell information from a compatible phone or tablet within Bluetooth range.
See how much current your equipment draws, confirm that charging is working and investigate active protection alerts. This extra visibility is useful when setting up a new system, troubleshooting a problem or checking your available power before heading out.
The app’s charge percentage is an estimate maintained by the BMS. A full charge helps recalibrate it, while very small loads may not be fully recorded.
The internal battery management system includes low-temperature charging protection to help prevent charging when the cells are too cold. It also monitors for excessive temperature, overcharging, excessive discharge, overcurrent and short-circuit conditions.
This model does not include a heater. Low-temperature protection pauses charging when the battery is too cold; it does not warm the cells. For installations that need charging in freezing conditions, browse our self-heating battery options.

How long will it run my trolling motor or other equipment?
With 100Ah / 1280Wh of nominal storage, this battery is a practical choice for fishing trips, trolling motors, depth sounders and campsite power. Here are a few examples:
- 40lb-thrust, 12V trolling motor: Using currents we’ve measured in real fishing conditions—approximately 34A at full speed and 3–5A at trolling speeds—the theoretical runtime is approximately 2.9 hours at full speed or 20–33 hours at trolling speed. That gives you plenty of capacity for a day of slower trolling, with reserve for occasional higher-speed travel.
- Starlink drawing 35W: Approximately 36.6 hours theoretically, before allowing for power-adapter or inverter losses. Actual consumption varies by Starlink model and operating conditions.
- 1200W travel kettle: A three-minute boil uses approximately 60Wh before inverter losses. However, a 1200W kettle requires approximately 104A from the battery at 12.8V and 90% inverter efficiency, exceeding this model’s 100A continuous rating. Choose a lower-wattage kettle or a higher-output battery for this appliance.
A depth sounder or fish finder adds to the total draw. For example, if your trolling motor averages 4A and your fishing electronics draw another 1A, the combined 5A load gives approximately 20 hours of theoretical runtime.
Runtime examples are estimates based on nominal capacity, not guaranteed operating times. Trolling-motor currents of approximately 34A at full speed and 3–5A at trolling speeds were recorded by Sapphire Energy during real-world use of a 40lb-thrust, 12V motor. Your results will vary with motor model, throttle setting, wind, current, boat loading, battery temperature, conversion losses and reserve capacity. Allow a reserve when planning your return trip.
What size inverter can I use?
Choose an inverter and connected loads that remain within the battery’s 100A continuous discharge limit. A modest inverter around 1000W can be a practical match, provided its actual load and startup demand are suitable.
Motor loads and appliances can draw much more power during startup. Check the equipment requirements and use correctly sized cables, fuses and connections. This is not a high-output battery intended to run large 2000W or 3000W inverter loads by itself.
What can I see in the Bluetooth app?
The app provides estimated charge percentage, battery voltage, current flowing in or out, internal temperature readings, cell information and active protection alerts.
Bluetooth works locally within range of the battery. It does not provide remote internet monitoring by itself.
Why might the app’s charge percentage need recalibration?
The BMS estimates state of charge by tracking current flowing into and out of the battery. Small loads below its measuring threshold—approximately 1A—may not be fully recorded, so the percentage can gradually drift.
A full recharge helps recalibrate the estimate. Use charge percentage alongside voltage, current and recent charging history when assessing your available power.
Can it charge in freezing temperatures?
This model includes low-temperature charging protection but does not have a built-in heater. When the cells are too cold, the BMS blocks charging until they warm sufficiently.
If your installation needs reliable charging in freezing weather, choose a suitable self-heating model or keep this battery in a temperature-controlled location.
Can I connect multiple batteries together?
Yes. Up to four compatible batteries can be connected in series for a higher-voltage bank, or up to four in parallel for additional capacity at 12.8V nominal.
Use matching batteries with the same capacity and specifications, balance their charge levels before connection and follow the battery installation instructions. The separate series and parallel limits do not automatically approve a combined 4S4P arrangement.
Can I use my existing charger or solar controller?
Use charging equipment with a suitable LiFePO₄ profile and settings that meet this battery’s charging requirements. Disable lead-acid equalization or desulfation modes.
Compatibility depends on the charger’s settings and output, not simply its “12V” label. Contact us with the charger or controller model if you would like help checking it.
Is it suitable for marine use?
It is suitable for compatible marine house loads and trolling motors operating within its electrical ratings. The IP65 case offers protection against dust and water jets, but is not intended for submersion.
Secure the battery in a protected location and keep its terminals covered. This model should not be treated as an engine-starting battery.
What warranty is included?
This battery includes a 5-year limited warranty. Contact Sapphire Energy if you need help with troubleshooting or a warranty concern.

Russ is very knowledgeable and knows his stuff very nice to deal with. I will definitely recommend him !!🤩
Works great 👍 quality build ! Customer service is very good also .
Working fine. Love the Bluetooth option.
Just installed the 100ah batteries in my camper. So far so good. Service has been excellent so far. Very quick response to any and all questions I may have had. If the batteries perform as good as the service has been they are going to be great. Will revisit in 6 months after some heavy testing.
Accurate size that fit my existing battery box. Works great with our 400W solar converter. Need a larger invert3r to run AC though. 2000W won't cut it.
