Seal & Protect Your Connection

For a clean, sealed finish, install adhesive-lined heat shrink over the crimped barrel. Most installations use approximately 2–3 inches per connection, depending on the cable size, lug style, and desired coverage.

Rest assured, you will receive a certified tinned copper lug matching the selected wire size and lug configuration. Manufacturer markings, finish, pad dimensions, and other minor physical details may vary slightly. 

Installer Tips

Confirm the fit before crimping: cable construction can vary between manufacturers, and some nominal AWG cables may run slightly larger or smaller. Compare the stripped conductor with the lug barrel before completing the crimp.

These lugs are intended for stranded copper conductors. For best results, use a properly sized hex, dieless, or manufacturer-approved crimping tool suitable for the lug and conductor.

After crimping, inspect the connection for complete conductor insertion and a firm mechanical bond. Finish the connection with adhesive-lined heat shrink to provide added strain relief and environmental protection.
