Specifications may change without notice due to sourcing equivalent cable from different manufacturers. We reserve the right to supply equivalent industrial-grade cable. If you have a specific requirement (inspection, engineering spec, jacket compound, strand class, etc.), please contact support prior to ordering.
*Ampacity shown is manufacturer free-air data at 40°C ambient, based on continuous duty at 90°C conductor temperature.
- Sold per foot
- Cut in one continuous length
- Cut cable is non-returnable
Is this cable suitable for building battery / inverter cables?
Yes — this is a high-flex, fine-strand copper welding cable commonly used for battery and inverter leads. Select the correct gauge for your current and length, and always protect battery circuits with an appropriately sized fuse.
Is this “pure copper” or copper-clad aluminum (CCA)?
This is specified as a bare copper conductor (not CCA). It’s designed for low resistance and high current handling.
Do you cut it in one continuous length?
Yes — when you order multiple feet, it is supplied as one continuous piece.
Can I return cut cable?
Cut cable is considered a custom cut item and is non-returnable. If you’re unsure of sizing, contact us before ordering and we’ll help you choose the right gauge.
Is this cable rated for outdoor or automotive use?
The EPDM/EPR rubber jacket is designed to be weather and ozone resistant and remains flexible in cold temperatures. It also carries oil resistant ratings.
For critical applications, confirm suitability for your environment and routing method. And always add additional protection when passing through things like firewalls or metal surfaces.
What does the ampacity rating mean?
Ampacity values shown are manufacturer free-air ratings at 40°C ambient. Real-world ampacity can be lower when bundled, installed in conduit, or in hot engine compartments. Use proper overcurrent protection and follow applicable electrical codes.
