HTRC P35 Battery Charger

A powerful, versatile, and portable charger — designed to keep your Sapphire Energy batteries in peak condition. The HTRC P35 works with both 12V and 24V systems, covering lithium (LiFePO4) and traditional lead-acid battery types. Built-in multi-stage charging profiles ensure safe, efficient, and worry-free charging every time.

With up to 35A output at 12V (18A @ 24V), you can recharge a 200Ah LiFePO4 battery in about 6 hours from empty. Just clip on the heavy-duty clamps, select your mode, and let the microprocessor do the rest.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Automatic Voltage Detection – works seamlessly with 12V or 24V batteries
  • Safe & Smart – microprocessor controlled, reverse polarity protection, and seasonal compensation
  • Powerful Output – charge large batteries quickly, or set current limits for smaller ones
  • Portable & Quiet – lightweight design with load-dependent cooling fan
  • Versatile Modes – includes a forced charge function to re-activate dead lead-acid batteries and wake up undercharged lithium packs
  • Reliable Memory – remembers the last charging mode used

We’ve tested the P35 extensively ourselves — it’s compact, reliable, and noticeably quieter than many comparable chargers. Perfect for the shop, garage, or to keep in your travel kit. The built-in forced charge mode is especially useful: it can revive heavily discharged lead-acid batteries and safely “wake up” lithium batteries that have fallen below their cut-off voltage.

Perfect For

  • RV & Vanlife – recharge house batteries quickly while plugged into shore power or a generator
  • Off-Grid Cabins – keep backup batteries topped up during low-solar periods
  • Marine / Boats – safe and reliable charging for onboard lithium or lead-acid banks
  • Workshop & Garage – maintain or repair batteries for cars, trucks, ATVs, motorcycles, tractors
  • Emergency Backup – revive dead lead-acid or wake up lithium packs when you need them most
  • Travel & Service Kits – lightweight and portable, ideal for remote work or field service

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Use the built-in forced charge function to safely “wake up” undercharged lithium (LiFePO4) batteries that have tripped their BMS cut-off. Monitor closely and switch to the normal LiFePO4 mode once the pack reaches a healthy voltage.

It’s suitable up to ~400Ah 12V (~200Ah 24V). Larger banks are supported, however the charging times will extend to match.

Yes. Select the LiFePO4 mode for correct charge voltages and multi-stage control tailored to lithium iron phosphate chemistry. Just press the MODE button until the corresponding LED turns on.

Yes. Mode memory recalls your last used charging mode for quick setup next time.

Yes. Use the adjustable current limit switch to match smaller batteries or sensitive applications.

The fan is load-dependent and notably quiet compared to many chargers we’ve tested. It ramps up only when needed.

Yes. An advanced repair mode helps recover performance in sulfated lead-acid batteries.

Generally yes for moderate loads, but charging will be slower. For fastest, most consistent charging, minimize large loads during the charge cycle.

Yes — as long as the generator provides stable AC within 100–240V, 50/60Hz. For best results use an inverter generator, let it warm up and stabilize before connecting, avoid overloaded/unstable outputs, use a proper-gauge extension cord, and keep cable runs short.

Reverse polarity, over-temperature, seasonal compensation (summer/winter), and microprocessor-controlled multi-stage charging.

Yes. Wide-range input: 100–240V AC, 50/60Hz.
