Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the right app for my Sapphire battery?
No. This app is designed for our separate BM01 / BM02 Bluetooth battery monitors. If your Sapphire battery has built-in Bluetooth, use the battery app linked on our Downloads & Manuals page.
Do I need the app if I already have the LCD display?
No. Your monitor's LCD displays live readings without the app. The app adds convenient access to historical information, peak tracking, and readings from your phone when you're within Bluetooth range.
Which phones and tablets are supported?
The app is available for Android through Google Play and for Apple devices running iOS 16 or later. Enable Bluetooth on your device to connect to a compatible Sapphire battery monitor.
Can I program my battery monitor using the app?
Yes. The app lets you configure supported battery monitor settings directly from your phone, avoiding the need to make every adjustment through the LCD buttons.
The iOS app opened in Chinese. How do I change it?
Some installations may initially display Chinese. Follow our short walkthrough video to change the app language to English.
