The integrated 200A JBD Battery Management System allows this battery to support demanding loads that can overwhelm conventional lithium batteries equipped with smaller 100A BMS units.

At its nominal 12.8V voltage, a 200A continuous discharge rating represents approximately 2560W of available DC power. This makes the battery a strong match for properly designed inverter systems in the 2000W class, as well as high-current DC equipment such as trolling motors, pumps, communications equipment, and mobile workshop loads.

Properly sized battery cables, over-current protection, disconnects, and busbars must be used when operating high-current loads.

Fast, Flexible Charging


The battery supports charging currents of up to 100A, allowing it to recharge quickly when paired with a suitable lithium-compatible charger, solar charge controller, alternator charger, or inverter/charger.

A lower charging current may be used whenever rapid charging is unnecessary. Charging at 50A, for example, places less demand on generators, shore-power connections, alternators, and charging equipment while still providing practical recharge times.

For best results, use charging equipment with a dedicated or programmable LiFePO₄ charging profile. Lead-acid equalization and desulfation modes should be disabled.

Expandable Battery Banks


This battery can be used individually or combined with matching batteries for larger systems. Up to four batteries may be connected in series to build a higher-voltage bank, and up to four batteries may be connected in parallel for additional capacity.

Can this battery power a large inverter?

Yes. The integrated 200A BMS supports up to 200A of continuous discharge. At the battery’s nominal 12.8V voltage, this represents approximately 2560W of continuous DC power before wiring and inverter losses.

This makes the battery a strong match for many properly designed inverter systems in the 2000W class. The inverter’s surge requirements, efficiency, low-voltage cutoff, battery cable size, cable length, fuse rating, and terminal connections must all be considered when designing the system.

How long will this battery run my equipment?

Runtime depends on the equipment’s actual power consumption. A fully charged battery stores 3840Wh of nominal energy. As a basic example, a steady 30W DC load could theoretically operate for approximately 128 hours.

AC equipment powered through an inverter will run for less time because the inverter consumes some of the available energy. Temperature, wiring losses, battery condition, equipment duty cycle, and the BMS cutoff point will also affect real-world runtime.

How many pots of coffee can it brew?

A typical 12-cup drip coffee maker uses approximately 900W to 1200W while brewing. Depending on the brewing time and inverter efficiency, this battery can provide enough energy for approximately 20 full pots of coffee.

Leaving the coffee maker’s warming plate on after brewing can consume substantially more energy. Turning the warming plate off and transferring the coffee to an insulated carafe will improve battery runtime.

Is this suitable for a trolling motor?

Yes. Its 300Ah capacity and 200A continuous discharge rating make it well suited for many 12V trolling motors, including common 50 lb thrust models.

A 50 lb trolling motor drawing approximately 25A at a moderate operating speed may run for roughly 12 hours. Runtime will be shorter at maximum speed and longer at lower speeds because trolling motor current draw changes substantially with the selected speed and operating conditions.

Always confirm the trolling motor’s voltage and maximum current requirements. A properly sized marine-rated fuse or circuit breaker should be installed close to the battery.

Can it be used as a marine house battery?

Yes. This battery is a strong option for fishing boats, recreational boats, and marine house-power systems operating navigation electronics, lighting, pumps, communications equipment, refrigeration, and other onboard DC loads.

The installation should use appropriately sized marine cable, secure terminal connections, suitable over-current protection, and a battery enclosure or mounting system that prevents movement. The battery should not be submerged or installed where standing water can accumulate around the terminals.

Does it include Bluetooth monitoring?

Yes. The integrated JBD Bluetooth BMS communicates with a compatible mobile app and provides access to state of charge, voltage, current, individual cell voltages, temperatures, balancing status, and protection alarms.

Bluetooth monitoring is especially useful during system commissioning because it allows you to confirm that the battery is charging and discharging as expected.

Can I connect multiple batteries together?

Yes. Up to four matching batteries may be connected in series, and up to four may be connected in parallel. This permits battery-bank configurations as large as 4S4P when properly designed.

All connected batteries should be the same model, age, capacity, and state of charge. Each battery should be fully charged and checked individually before making the final series or parallel connections.

Parallel banks should use balanced cable routing so each battery shares the load and charging current as evenly as possible.

Can I mix this battery with a different battery?

Mixing different battery models, capacities, chemistries, ages, or BMS ratings in the same series or parallel bank is not recommended. Differences between batteries can cause uneven charging, uneven current sharing, reduced usable capacity, or premature BMS protection events.

For an expandable system, use matching 12V 300Ah High Output batteries purchased as close together as practical.

Can this battery be charged from solar panels?

Yes. It can be charged using a lithium-compatible MPPT or PWM solar charge controller. For larger solar arrays, an MPPT controller is generally preferred because it provides greater design flexibility and more efficient energy harvesting.

The charge controller must be configured for LiFePO₄ batteries, and its maximum output must not exceed the battery’s 100A charging limit.

Can I charge it from a vehicle alternator?

Yes, but a suitable DC-to-DC battery charger is normally recommended. LiFePO₄ batteries can draw substantial current from an alternator, particularly when the battery is at a low state of charge.

A DC-to-DC charger limits the charging current, provides the correct lithium charging profile, and helps protect the vehicle’s alternator and wiring.

Can I use my existing lead-acid charger?

Some lead-acid chargers may work, but a dedicated or programmable LiFePO₄ charger is strongly preferred. The charger must not use automatic equalization, desulfation pulses, or charging voltages outside the battery’s permitted range.

Using a suitable lithium charging profile provides more predictable charging and helps ensure the battery reaches a proper state of charge.

Can it replace an AGM or flooded lead-acid battery bank?

In many systems, yes. A 300Ah LiFePO₄ battery provides substantially more usable energy than a similarly rated lead-acid battery bank because lithium batteries can normally be discharged much deeper without the same rapid reduction in cycle life.

LiFePO₄ batteries are also lighter, charge more efficiently, maintain a more stable voltage under load, and do not require watering or equalization. Existing chargers, alternator charging systems, battery monitors, and low-voltage settings should be checked for lithium compatibility before installation.

Can this battery be installed inside an RV, cabin, or boat?

Yes. LiFePO₄ batteries do not normally release hydrogen gas during charging and do not require watering or other routine maintenance associated with flooded lead-acid batteries.

The battery should still be mounted securely in a dry location with protection from physical damage, conductive debris, excessive heat, and water. Adequate working space should be provided around the terminals and protective devices.

What size battery cables should I use?

Battery cable size depends on maximum current, cable length, installation method, allowable voltage drop, insulation temperature rating, and applicable electrical standards. A system operating near the battery’s 200A continuous limit requires substantially larger cable than a low-current solar or communications installation.

The fuse protects the wiring, so its rating must be selected for the installed cable and equipment—not simply matched to the battery’s maximum BMS rating.

Does the BMS replace a fuse or circuit breaker?

No. The internal BMS protects the battery cells and may disconnect the battery during an abnormal condition, but it does not replace properly sized external over-current protection.

A suitable fuse or DC-rated circuit breaker should be installed close to the positive battery terminal. Each connected circuit must also be protected according to its wire size and equipment requirements.

What warranty does this battery include?
